W. Taylor Corbett

Taylor Corbett joined Stephen W Gooch, PC in July of 2021. He has more than 14 years of experience in mineral and property law, both as an attorney and as a mineral title abstractor and landman. As an attorney, he has handled matters for both corporations and citizens – including representing corporate clients in environmental compliance matters brought by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. He has negotiated and handled asset and stock purchase agreements for his corporate clients. Taylor has fought for property owners in administrative law matters in front of the Virginia Gas and Oil Board and litigated boundary line disputes, adverse possession issues and partition suits throughout Southwest Virginia. 

Prior to joining Stephen W Gooch, PC, he was a partner with Galumbeck & Kegley, Attorneys at Law, in their Tazewell, Virginia, office. There he focused on property litigation, commercial law, estates and criminal and civil litigation both in federal and state court.
